New Bolt On Nitrogen Offerings Nitrogen Charged Shocks Skyjacker M95 Shocks

Looking for a quick suspension upgrade on your stock or lifted truck? All four of these new nitrogen-charged shocks bolt into the stock shock locations, front and rear—coilover/strut or smooth body, on your late-model truck, SUV, or Jeep. There are stock and lifted height applications of all four of these new shock offerings.

RS7000MT
Manufacturer: Rancho

The RS7000MT is a nitrogen-charged monotube shock with a high-pressure gas charge that is separated from the internal oil to improve damping efficiency. The shocks use a heavy-duty, 14mm chrome piston rod and feature a 46mm bore and piston to smooth out rough dirt roads. They have a brushed finish with zinc plating and a clear coat to protect the finish on the shock body throughout its life.

Pro Runner
Manufacturer: Pro Comp

Pro Comp’s application-specific Pro Runners are gas-charged, monotube shocks with multi-stage valving to optimize ride quality and handling characteristics. The brushed, Zinc plated, and clearcoated monotube shock body is nitrogen charged to eliminate performance-robbing cavitation during compression and rebound. This allows the shock to dissipate heat more efficiently and reduces shock fade. The Pro Runner SS is the same shock but in a strut-style application.

M95
Manufacturer: Skyjacker

Skyjacker’s new M95 monotube shocks are vehicle-specific shocks with a single tube body to help keep operating temperatures cooler in extreme conditions. The high-pressure nitrogen gas and floating piston technology combine to create a fast-responding shock. The M95 shocks have a 46mm bore and are custom tuned for each vehicle. They’re also designed for 180-degree directional mounting.

Performance Series
Manufacturer: Fox

Fox’s new Performance Series shock features a black-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum body that is said to dissipate heat three times faster than steel. The shaft is a 5/8-inch hard chromed alloy steel piece attached to a race-developed high-flow piston and application-specific valving stack. Reservoirs are optional on some applications where increased cooling capacity is needed. Strut applications come packed with coils so that no stock coil is reused.
