Summertime is a great time to work on your truck. The days are long, and the temperature of the concrete doesn’t bite you in the ass every time you lay under your truck to work on it. That’s why we like making sure our trucks are prepped and ready to roll through the winter months, so we don’t have to touch them while snow is on the ground. For us, prepping the truck for next winter’s use included adding a couple cold-weather modifications that will help our truck fire up and warm up better when the temperature drops. We first added a Bulletproof Diesel Cold Weather kit to our already-existing Bulletproof remote oil-cooler system, and then ensured our truck would start no matter what the temperature with a Powermaster Ultra Duty diesel truck starter.
