One of our project Chevys already had a nice steering wheel on it, but thanks to an incident with some sharp edges and some heavy weight, we've decided we need a new wheel. With only a couple days left before an off-roading trip, we ran down to the local parts store to grab a new steering wheel for our trip. Luckily many auto parts stores have a great selection of Grant wheels, and we chose the No. 452 Club Sport Model to get a better grip on our ride. 1. We got a No. 452 Club Sport Model with an adapter kit to fit our Chevy steering column. It's a vinyl grip wheel with diamond grip accents that we chose because it will likely withstand the elements better than a soft leather wheel.1. We then backed the nut off since we'll also be adding the cover plate and steering wheel onto this shaft before the nut gets tightened on.3.
