The whole Warn Works PullzAll...
The whole Warn Works PullzAll package: the 24-volt NiMH-powered PullzAll, rapid charger, and two rachargable battery packs to make sure you don't run out of juice. The durable orange housing has rubber padding around the protruding corners for those sharp impacts, while the handle gets a little extra for a comfortable grip.
Who here likes hernias? How about just a good old-fashioned groin pull while trying to lift the trunk of that dead pine tree into the truck bed? Well we feel the same way, and quickly realized it was time to find something to help out with those unaccompanied, late-night lifts. Something sturdy, small, affordable, and easy to use would be a perfect addition to the tool bag. Warn Works fulfilled all our requirements with its PullzAll handheld winch.
The PullzAll is a lightweight, portable and powerful tool, making it a versatile solution to the majority of daily lifting needs. Weighing in at just 18 pounds, this brawny little handheld can lift up to 1,000 pounds! It comes in either a 110-volt AC corded version or a rechargeable 24-volt DC, NiMH battery-powered model. Whether the 15 feet of 0.218-inch wire rope is being spooled in or out, the PullzAll's electric motor allows for steady operation. Its variable speed, trigger control produces smooth and precise placements of heavy loads. And perhaps best of all, this compact powerhouse has a Load Indicator Display. A series of LED's keeps track of the tension force in the wire rope, with each bar equating to approximately 125 pounds of force. When the 1,000-pound pulling load is exceeded, the overload sensor kicks in. The electric motor is temporarily stopped, enabling the user to remove the tension from the rope and properly adjust the load.
The Warn Works PullzAll is comfortably capable on the construction site, campsite, and anywhere in between. It's a small price to pay compared to that hernia operation.
The simplistic on/off switch... The simplistic on/off switch is enclosed within a circular ridge. Not only does this feature help to avoid accidental engagements, but also aids in locating the switch in the dark. | The LEDs of the Load Indicator... The LEDs of the Load Indicator Display go from green to red. Each green LED bar represents a load of about 125 pounds of tension on the wire rope. The two uppermost LED's are red and flash on and off when the Overload Sensor is tripped. | The PullzAll will work in... The PullzAll will work in whatever direction you need it to. Using it like a hoist in this completely vertical orientation, it should be capable of lifting close to 1,000 pounds. Remember this is a static load rating, and will be less if the load is moving quickly, swinging, or causing other dynamic loading such as water sloshing inside a water tank. The PullzAll is the perfect... The PullzAll is the perfect accessory for hauling broken toys into a truck bed. If you are pulling large loads, make sure to only pull continuously for 10 feet before allowing the winch and battery to cool down to ambient temperature. The PullzAll is designed to handle intermittent pulling, so you will need to step up to a heavy-duty winch for larger loads or long-duration pulls. | The PullzAll really came in... The PullzAll really came in handy when we recently blew a transmission in our Bronco in Moab, Utah. It was about 10 p.m. when we finally borrowed a trailer and got back to the truck. Unfortunately the trailer had no winch, but we did have our trusty PullzAll. The 1,000-pound pulling capacity was actually not enough to get the Bronco up the steep ramps of the trailer, so we found some uneven ground-just uneven enough to lessen the incline of the ramps and yank the Bronco onto the trailer. If we didn't have the Warn PullzAll, we probably would have just left the Bronco for scrap at that point."-Jeff Dahlin, publisher for some lowered-truck magazine who owns our project Bronco, The Juice. | |
