Spare Tire Dilemma Durable Black Powder
During the installation process we noted the unit's stout construction comprised of 0.5-inch and 1.75-inch DOM tubing. A durable black powder coat finish ensures long lasting good looks and the included fasteners are all of high-grade. The system came in one large box with everything needed to perform the installation with basic hand tools.

Spare Tire Dilemma Gate Ties Upper And Lower Pivot
We liked the way the tire gate ties into both the upper and lower pivot points at the rear of the Rhino's chassis. The additional strength provided by the two angled bars on each side gave us lots of confidence that the unit would not flex one bit- even with the maximum 50-pound carrying capacity.

Spare Tire Dilemma Trail Ready Wheel
With a 48.5-pound Trail Ready wheel and 28-inch General Grabber tire combo secured in place, the Rhino TireGate held strong. Even over punishing sand dunes the unit remained rattle-free and exactly as it was after our initial installation. We are impressed with the simplicity of the pin to latch system, and we expect the unit to serve us well for many years to come.
