To get to that point, however, you'll need to jack up your truck by the axle, secure a floorjack under the frame, remove the tire, and lower the axle (on the jack) to the ground. You'll need to remove the shock, the anti-sway bar, and pop out the coil spring. This is actually easier than it sounds, as the axle will droop out far enough after the shocks and anti-sway bar are removed. We recommend doing one side at a time instead of both at the same time.
