The kit came with all the parts to complete the job. We apologize for the bit of dirt on the unit, but we actually had to uninstall this kit after using it for a bit so we could take some more pictures (our computer went rogue on us and ate the original photos).
Is it any wonder air intakes are one of the most popular bolt-on engine mods there are? Improving efficiency to improve power and fuel economy is something that we can all agree on as a good thing. In fact, why the heck don't dealerships offer vehicles with aftermarket air intakes already installed?! While we ponder this one, check out Airaid's top-selling air intake for the 6.0L Powertroke Ford Super Duty engines. We didn't run it on a dyno or anything, but we have to assume it's an effective unit because it is the most popular air intake that Airaid offers.
We were able to get the unit on in a quick 30 minutes without any special tools or training. Not bad for some desk jockey, huh?
