Pro Comp Dodge Ram 4x4 Goodies - Worthy Dodge Upgrades
 | With our new suspension installed... With our new suspension installed we can show you the amount of work that went into the install. As you can see the front received new Pro Comp MX 2.75c Series coilovers, completely new spindles, drop brackets for the control arms, extensions for the steering and sway-bar systems and a wealth of bolts you don't want to get mixed up. | One of the major points of... One of the major points of the install process is the removal of the transfer case. Here is ours shown on a work bench having just received the new Pro Comp Index Ring. In order to keep all of the factory systems working properly, Pro Comp needed to design a system that would keep the truck thinking it was still running a stock suspension. The transfer case to transmission mounting surfaces needed to be indexed and rotated to assure the truck would work properly at its new ride height. Today's technology can be both a blessing and a curse at the same time. | The Pro Comp kit provides... The Pro Comp kit provides bracketry for lowering the control arms mounts and reuses many of the OE bolts, so don't go tossing those in the trash. The transmission also received new mounts, and a new driveshaft spacer is included as well as differential drop mounts. There is some slight fabrication that must be done as well: the front factory crossmember mount but be cut in two places as well as the dust shields that surround the brake rotors. | The rear suspension received... The rear suspension received a lift block, new MX-6 six-way adjustable rear shocks, and drop brackets for the bump stops. This kit is the Stage II version. If you purchase the Stage I kit, it comes with ES9000 rear shock absorbers. Six inches of lift allows the use of 35x12.5-inch tires on rims up to 9 inches wide with up to 4.625-inch backspacing. | | | | |
