The Dixon Bros. long-travel Ford Ranger suspension kit allows for 14 inches of usable wheel travel with 4WD capability. The boxed-plate lower and tubular upper control arms increase track width by 4 inches on each side. The kit ditches the stock torsion bar system in favor of a 2.5-inch-diameter coilover with an 8-inch-stroke length. Included in the kit are new boxed-plate lower control arms and matching 4130 chrome-moly, tubular upper control arms with high-angle ball joints that provide over 20 additional degrees over the OE units. New inner CV joints with custom heat-treated axleshafts are standard issue as well.
The Dixon Bros. long-travel kit aligns to factory specifications. Options for the kit include bypass shocks with custom valving and a steering clevis kit.
