1994 Toyota Land Cruiser Buildup Left Side
Stock running boards are no match for trail obstacles. These things are damage multipliers; one good smack from a rock and these babies are going to taco and push directly into the rocker panel. If you plan on wheeling your rig stock, it is best to remove these before you hit the trail.

1994 Toyota Land Cruiser Buildup Boards Sliders
There is no comparison when you see the stock running boards next to Hanna Quality's rock sliders. These sliders aren't light either; you need a buddy to help put them on.

1994 Toyota Land Cruiser Buildup Protection Plate
Here is a close-up of the cat protection plate. This is one strong unit. The fit and finish are topnotch. Installation was quite simple - one person holds the slider up, and the other person slides the U-bolts through the frame and into the holes on the slider. On the passenger side, I needed to remove three bolts on the transfer case crossmember. During this step, I used a jack to support the transfer case to make things easier. On the driver side, I also made sure to run the U-bolts under the brake lines so as not to crush them when tightening everything down.

With one side complete, notice how they tuck up nice and tight to the body of the Land Cruiser. Important to the design is the fact that Hanna leaves room for the body to flex so it will not make any contact with the sliders.

1994 Toyota Land Cruiser Buildup Outer Tube
The outer tube will fend off any trail hazards that might want to take a swipe at the rockers. This tube can also be used as a high-lift point or a swivel point on a rock to make a tight turn.

Ken's sliders are made from DOM steel measuring 2 inches in diameter with a wall thickness of 0.120 inch. The main rectangular tube is 3x4-inch DOM steel with a 3/16-inch wall thickness.
