Monster Dime

Vehicle: Chevy S-10 Extended Cab
Owner: Glenn and Shirley Miller
Location: Naselle, Washington
Chassis: 1.75-inch, 0.120-wall DOM tubing
Engine: Propane Powered 383 stroker Chevy V-8
Drivetrain: Turbo 350, NP205, Dana 60 front, Corporate 14-Bolt rear
Suspension: Triangulated four-link, 18-inch-stroke Sway-A-Way 2.5 remote reservoir coilover shocks, 4-inch FOX hydraulic bump stops.
Steering: Full hydraulic, dual cylinders
Brakes: Hydroboost brake booster
Tires/Wheels: 44-inch Super Swamper Boggers on 16.5x12 Weld Aluminum wheels
Interior: Center Steer, full containment seat, five-point harness, Lexan firewall
Other parts: Fiberglass fenders, hood and bedsides, all brackets made of 3/16 T-1 steel, Birch remote ignition interrupter. The whole truck was built in six months in a two-car garage.
Favorite off-road area: Anywhere there are crushed cars to hit, like events in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, and Nevada.

Drivetrain: Turbo 400 transmission, NP205 T-case, Dana 44 front with Lincoln locker, 12-Bolt rear with locker, 4.88 gears
Suspension: Superlift 6-inch lift, Superlift shocks
Steering: Pro Comp steering stabilizers
Brakes: Stock
Tires/Wheels: 40-inch Gumbo Mudders on 15-inch black steel wheels
Interior: Homemade dash, gauges, two-seater
Other parts: Summit fuel cell, Earl’s plumbing, Flowmaster exhaust
Favorite off-road area: Central Illinois and Southern Wisconsin


Thousand- Dollar Pony

Vehicle: 1989 Ford Bronco II

Location: Larwill, Indiana

Engine: 2.9L V-6, cold air intake, straight piped, Accel spark plugs, wires and coil.
Drivetrain: Five-speed manual, Borg Warner 1350 T-case, Dana 28 TTB front, 7.5 rear
Suspension: 2-inch coil spacers in front, 2-inch lift blocks in the rear.
Steering: Stock
Brakes: Stock
Tires/Wheels: 31x10.5R15 Firestone Destination AT on 15-inch American Racing wheels
Interior: Pioneer stereo and speakers, custom lighting
Other parts: Chrome rocker kit and custom made decals, clearance lights
Favorite off-road area: Indiana fields with hometown friends.
