2004 Chevy Heavy Duty 2500 4x4 Car Art Inspired by World War II Jet Fighters - Dive Bombers

The Platinum 1 Air Force

Photography by James J. Weber

World War II-era fighter planes and the accompanying artwork that was painted on their fuselages are items that just scream individuality and camaraderie. Following this trend, the guys at Platinum 1 Enterprises of Riverside, California, chose to emblazon their two rigs with two stunning examples of this truly American form of art.

As Tier 1 suppliers to Harley-Davidson Motor Company for the painting of all limited-edition motorcycle paint sets, Platinum 1 owner, Kraig Kavanaugh, felt that the best way to promote his business and its new products and designs would be to create two truly unique vehicles. The first vehicle in the Platinum 1 Enterprises air force is an '05 Chevrolet HD 2500 4x4 with a B1 Bomber theme, while the second truck is an '04 Chevrolet HD 2500 4x4 with a Dive Bomb Shark covering the entire rig.

With a sudden growth in custom helmet design and a new exclusive arrangement with M2R helmets to create limited-edition, hand-painted M2R helmets for racers and dealerships, we get the idea that these rigs are just what the doctor ordered to fuel the marketing campaign.
