CORR Championship, Primm, NV November 3-4, 2007

Championship Off Road Racing roared onto the all-new track at the Las Vegas International Off Road Raceway in Primm, Nevada, for the final stop of the 2007 series. On this weekend CORR would crown champions and award the prestigious Baldwin Cup. Carl Renezeder had a great weekend by taking home both the Jason Baldwin Memorial Cup (and the $66,000 that comes with it) and the 2007 Lucas Oil Pro 4 Championship. Jerry Whelchel sealed the deal and walked away with the 2007 Pro 2 Championship. Having a phenomenal first season, Alan Pflueger and Troy Herbst both won the Tube Works Rookie of the Year awards for Pro 2 and Pro 4, respectively. In Pro Lite, Robert Naughton walked away with the championship trophy while Garit Wallace took the Howe Performance Rookie of the Year award. After such an exciting season, we can't wait to see what 2008 has in store for us!

Off Road Competition Race Results 07 Corr Baja 1000 Evan Evans
Evan Evans made his one and only CORR start this season in the Baldwin Cup Last Chance Qualifier on Saturday. His run was ended short by a blown motor. We hope to see Evan back racing CORR for the 2008 season.

Turn 1 after a restart was a scary place if you weren't out in front.
Off Road Competition Race Results 07 Corr Baja 1000 Tabletop
From the grandstands, the massive tabletop on the backstretch looked tame, but from this angle you can really see how high the drivers really get and how brave/crazy you have to be to race CORR.

MDR Stoddard 250 november 10, 2007

The Mojave Desert Racing California Championship Series ended its season on a high note in November 2007 with the Stoddard 250 held in Barstow, California. Unfortunately with Baja taking place at the same time and being the last race of the season, the entry list was a little short with only 48 vehicles entered, 43 taking the green flag, and just 26 completing the race. Nonetheless, it was still an exciting race. Joe Willardsen took the overall win and the Class 1 win by completing the six laps of the course in only 4 hours, 27 minutes, a whopping 45 minutes before the Second finisher Bryan Meyers. We all look forward to an awesome 2008 season!

Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 November 13-15, 2007

Every year, around the same time, thousands of racers, crews, family, friends, and fans, converge on the small Mexican town of Ensenada for one purpose - the Baja 1000. Last year marked the exciting 40th anniversary of this legendary race, and in fitting fashion, this race was the longest ever at 1,296 miles and ended in the town of Cabo San Lucas for only the second time in its history. The Baja 1000 achieved a couple of other milestones by having the second-highest number of entries, 424, and the highest number of finishers ever with 239 vehicles taking the checkered flag.
