2011 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Adds Supercrew Option, More Technology, Towing, Standard 6.2l Engine
We introduced you to the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor in our August 2009 issue. After several amazing test drives, we all loved the new truck but felt like it was lacking in power options. Well, Ford listened and now we give you a sneak peek at the new 2011 model adding a Supercrew option, increasing towing capabilities and a big standard 6.2L engine.
The previously optional 6.2L V8 engine, which produces 411 horsepower and 434 lb.-ft. of torque, now comes standard for 2011, making Raptor one of the most powerful half-ton pickup trucks on the market.
Upgraded technology content, including a standard 4.2-inch LCD productivity screen and SelectShift automatic transmission, keeps customers more in tune with their trucks, while a new graphic and color choice gives them more options. By the time you read this, the new truck will be available at your local dealership or you can custom order your truck on Ford's website.
