If you've been following our FJ Cruiser buildup in recent issues, you will agree with us that the FJ can go virtually anywhere the wheels are pointed. With this said, one of the major contributing factors to having a vehicle go where it's driven is the quality of its underbody protection. The new All-Pro Off-Road heavy-duty transfer-case skidplate is an example of one additional layer of protection to an FJ's underbelly. The skidplate is made from a solid piece of 10-gauge, cold-rolled steel plate that is mated to a piece of 1.5-inch, 0.120-wall, round steel tubing that, when installed, extends to the framerails with the supplied bolt-on backing plates. This innovative design allows for any impacts to be evenly distributed to the frame of the FJ rather than to its transfer case.

In the past, whenever installing an onboard air system that would support both air lockers and inflation duties for all four tires, there had to be ample space within your ride to accommodate both the compressor and required air tank. Those days are over now that ARB has released its new low-amp-drawing, high-flowing, onboard compressor kit.
