Hypermax Pulse Turbocharger for Ford Power Stroke Diesel Engine)The Power Stroke Diesel engines that power Ford's popular Super Duty trucks are certainly an impressive performer, but trucks equipped with tall tires and a boatload of weighty accessories naturally require additional engine output. Enter Hypermax Engineering with its all-new performance turbocharger for '94-'02 Power Stroke-equipped trucks. The big news is that Hypermax's mods to the new turbo serve to notably increase the turbine's airflow anywhere from 25-40 percent. With the increase in turbo airflow, exhaust gas temperatures and backpressure are reduced, and fuel mileage is increased. With the Hypermax turbo's airflow improvement, the Power Stroke can be pressurized to 400 hp. If you need more diesel output, Hypermax offers performance computer chips, exhaust systems, and intercoolers for Ford's powerful oil-burner. Hypermax turbochargers are available for 6.9L and 7.3L Navistar diesel engines. For more information, contact: Hypermax Engineering Inc., Dept. OR, 255 E. Rte. 72, Gilberts, IL 60136, (847) 428-5655, www.hypermaxdiesel.com.

Made For You Products' Professional Fastener SystemsOrganization is key to building a trail-tough truck, especially when it comes to wires and hoses. Just think of all the cables and fluid transfer lines under the hood and on the chassis of your truck and how their reliability would be enhanced it they were securely routed away from heat or unwanted contact with engine components. Also, cleanly routed wires and hoses make it easier to spot trouble, such as breakage or damage, before things get out of hand. One of the slickest ways to route wires and cables are with T-Clamps from Made For You Products. T-Clamps are manufactured from aircraft-quality nylon, which is durable; resistant to fuel, oil, and heat; and cost-effective. T-Clamps are supplied with stainless-steel mounting hardware, are available in six colors, and come in sizes to fit wires and cables from 3/16 inch through 1-1/16 inch. Inline Tube Disc Brake Proportioning ValvesDisc brake conversions have been a popular modification on both early and late-model trucks for some time, since many 4x4s built during the early '70s were factory-equipped with front and rear drum brakes. Surprisingly, most trucks produced during the '90s - and even some current models - are still equipped with rear drum brakes, making late-model trucks another application for disc brake swaps. Getting the required disc rotors, calipers, and bracketry isn't a problem, as there are many aftermarket sources for disc brake conversion kits. However, there's one key component that must be used with a disc brake conversion if maximum braking power is the goal: a brake proportioning valve. Inline Tube is an excellent source for all types of disc brake proportioning valves and related hard lines. The Inline Tube valves are manufactured from an OE-style design; use a cast-brass body; and are available in these models: front disc/rear drum (from a four-wheel drum system), four-wheel disc (from a four-wheel drum system), and four-wheel disc (from a front disc/rear drum system). Inline Tube also manufactures a selection of pre-bent hard brake lines for a clean installation of the proportioning valve. For more information, contact: Inline Tube, Dept.
