The intake is a period-correct aluminum unit and the fuel is metered by a Holley 670 CFM Truck Avenger carb, replacing more modern units installed by the previous owner. Suspension consists of heavy-duty replacement coils and an array of six Pro Comp twin tube shocks. The shocks mount to towers on the frame rails and to tabs mounted on the trailing arms. Original shocks back in the day were made by Gabriel. Brakes were upgraded when the Bronco was built using a Hickey front disc conversion with Dodge calipers. They are vintage Bostrom big rig seats that use an internal steel spring suspension to provide some vertical cushion for driver and passenger. The armrests were added by the Stroppe fabricators. They are Ford DeTomaso Pantera headrests that were discarded from the Stroppe shop where they serviced and modified the sports cars 40 years ago. For safety reasons, Mastercraft 3G seats were used during the 2010 race, and both harnesses have been upgraded with new Mastercraft sets.The low-back seats are original pieces that were partially reupholstered by The Upholstery As expected, the interior is spartan and laid out for function and visibility. Two more Pro Comp shocks per corner dampen the rear axle of the Bronco. Inside spins a Detroit Locker shod with 4.56:1 gears, and the brake drums were angle-drilled by Stroppe to help with cooling. The rear section of the Bronco frame was specially modified by Stroppe and the leaf springs were outboard mounted outside the frame rails to increase stability.
