When it comes to super clean daily-driven trucks that can also perform off road, it's hard to not take a close look at Brian MacLean's '07 Toyota Tundra. Brian works for SoCal SuperTrucks, a company based out of San Bernardino, California, that has been known for turning out show quality purpose built trucks that have been gracing magazine covers for years. After owning a supercharged Ford Ranger and a highly modified rock crawling '83 Jeep CJ7, it was time a clean full-size truck ended up in his garage. This truck is not radically modified; Brian says it's "perfectly" modified. It has the perfect combination of high-performance parts and great looks. The 20x9s have six i In order to compliment the front suspension, SoCal SuperTrucks installed a Deaver Spring mini pack custom made for the Tundra. Rear shocks include Icon 2.5-inch piggyback shocks that use Icon's "bump zone" technology. Icon has designed this shock to work like a bypass shock increasing compression and rebound in the last two inches of stroke. We hopped into the truck for a quick ride and were pleased with the control the truck had in the dirt. There was no excessive wheel hop, steering shudder, or any bottoming out. The new suspension is a definite improvement and lifts the rear one inch to bring the truck to a level stance.In order to compliment the front suspension, SoCal SuperTrucks installed a Deaver Spring m Icon Vehicle Dynamics and Total Chaos teamed up and created the suspension found on Brain's truck. The front suspension included Total Chaos (TC) upper control arms, a TC secondary shock hoop, F9-11 hardware, TC 1-inch differential drop kit, Icon 2.5-inch remote reservoir coilovers and Icon 2.5-inch remote reservoir secondary shocks.
