Jeep's SkunkWerks Brings Us a New Jeep Truck

  • SkunkWerks' JT pickup is built on the JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited's 116-inch-wheelbase chassis. Superlift coils provide clearance for the 35x12.50R17LT BFGoodrich Mud-Terrains on 17x9 custom steel wheels. The front and rear Dana 44 axles have 4.10 gears, the Rubicon's Tru-Lok electronically activated locking diffs, and a Rock-Trac 4:1 transfer case. There's an electronically activated sway-bar disconnect too. The body is an existing export military product, the J8, while the cab was built by SkunkWerks from Dakota and two-door JK parts.
