On occasion, Pete's girlfriend finds her way behind the wheel of his truck, so Pete designed a slider system for the seat mounts. This quick-release pin system allows the seat to be adjusted and locked into place firmly.

Pete knows that having tools, medical kits, and other safety equipment is crucial in the desert. Strapped into the cab of his truck are Master Craft toolbags, first-aid kits, a fire extinguisher, and you can also see the body of his Yaesu FT-7100 dual-band FM receiver for communicating between race vehicles.

This truck is not only a prerunner but also a chase truck when needed.

Underneath this masterpiece is a full-floating, Ford 9-inch rearend using 31-spline axles, 4.56 ring-and-pinion gears, and a solid spool to keep both rear tires turning at the same time, all the time.

There is no jungle-gym fabrication involved here.

A set of Joes Racing Products helmet hooks was added to keep both the passenger's and driver's headgear out of the way when parked.

For navigation purposes, Pete chose a Lowrance 3300C GPS unit that allows him to prerun and mark out all of the local racecourses.

Climbing into the cab of Pete's truck, you will find a set of MasterCraft Rubicon race seats equipped with Crow five-point harnesses. When you go for a ride in this truck you must wear your helmet.
