Jeep Hurricane - Off Road Insider

According to J.D.Power's 2004 Vehicle Dependability Study, the Ford Ranger is the "Most Dependable Compact Pickup." The Chevrolet Tahoe was awarded the "Most Dependable Fullsize Vehicle" title, and the GMC Sierra is the "Most Dependable Fullsize Pickup." The "Most Dependable Light-Duty Fullsize Pickup" award went to the Ford F-150, and the Toyota 4Runner won the award for midsize SUVs.

New 2005 Crash Ratings
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) released new crash-test results for selected '05 vehicles and rollover ratings for SUVs, vans, and cars.

The highest-rated SUVs in the latest round of rollover testing were the Lincoln Navigator 4x4 and Toyota Highlander 4x4, with each receiving four stars, with a 17.4 percent chance of rollover if involved in a single-vehicle crash. In frontal crashes, the Toyota Tundra pickup received high marks, with a four-star rating for the driver and five-star rating for the front passenger and side-impact tests.
