2005 Dodge Power Wagon Old Vs New

If there's a group that simply can't leave well enough alone, it's off-road truck enthusiasts. Whatever combination of power and off-road prowess a manufacturer can release to the public, we've just gotta change it to suit our tastes or needs. Yes, we know that thousands of hours of R&D have been invested, but we also keep in mind that a tweak here or there can make our trucks all the more capable.

For '05, the powers that be at Dodge tuned into the demands that hard-core enthusiasts have on their trucks and incorporated key components into the already successful Ram 2500 4x4 pickup platform. Quite often, OEMs pay more attention to cupholders and interior trim than axle ratios and skidplates. Dodge broke the mold, and the result is a truck that's genuinely dirt-worthy right from the showroom floor.
