2001 Ford F350 Crew Cab SuperDuty - American Pride
An F-350 Super Duty That Signifies the American Spirit
Photography by Mike Finnegan
As stunning as the exterior, the interior of the rig was fit by Upholstery Works in nearby Mesa, Arizona, with tricolored red, white, and blue custom-cut and -stitched flamed leather upholstery and door panels. The dashboard and corresponding trim pieces were painted by Trinity Customs of Chandler, Arizona, with the same House of Color Blue Pearl paint and matching white stars. At the helm of the truck is a custom CNC-machined billet Trinity Customs steering wheel. By the sound of the complete Eclipse audio/video system, including a 13-inch fold-down monitor, the Star-Spangled Banner sounds as though it's emanating from a major-league baseball stadium. Dealing with the Arizona heat can take its toll on the truck's passengers, so B.J.'s Auto Spa in Phoenix applied the limo tint to all the windows.
Serving as a daily reminder of the freedom and justice we all benefit from in this country, Peter's ride fulfills its purpose of garnering attention for the Stars and Stripes, as well as continuing to be a shining example of just one American's devotion and respect to his country and the people who make it the greatest nation in the world. God bless America!
