2002 Nissan Frontier King Cab Desert Runner - Frantic Frontier
Purpose-Built Nissan On A Mission
Photography by Chip Starr
Moving to the interior, you are greeted with Sparco racing seats to ensure that driver and passenger stay planted. The same blue Sparco fabric was expertly matched on the door panels, the shift boot, and the rear speaker enclosure. All of the upholstery work was provided by Stitchcraft of Westminster, California. The awesome audio system, installed by Audio Options of Torrance, California, is orchestrated by a Rockford Fosgate head unit and plays through Rockford Fosgate amplifiers and speakers. Two Rockford Fosgate 10-inch subwoofers are located in the speaker enclosure, which shares space with a Rockford Fosgate 10-disc CD changer.
The Team at Axis has certainly built a head-turner for prerunner enthusiasts, and this vehicle has appeared at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and the L.A. Auto Show in Nissan's booth. During the coming year, the truck will be featured by Axis at upcoming truck shows and Supercross events.
