1998 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 - Stomper Staten Island

Who Said City Boys Don't Know How To Off-Road?

Photography by Randall Jachmann

With all of Vince's desired mechanical advantages taken, it was time to enhance the appearance of the soon-to-be show favorite. He had the truck painted an intense blue by the local Collision Center of Staten Island. He also had them paint the door handles and the dashboard to match the intense blue exterior. Auto Meter gauges were installed in the freshly painted dash. The graphite-colored upholstery would be protected by the newly tinted windows. His one-time towing vehicle was now complete - at least for now.

The truck evolved into much more than just a towing vehicle. In fact, Vince made the journey in it to Indianapolis and Vermont truck shows. He collected awards from both shows and continues to display his hobby at other local events. Vince builds trucks out of his love for the sport. Over the past seven years, he has been a valuable asset to the East Coast show truck scene, traveling and sharing his creations with generations of off-road enthusiasts to come. We are pleased to display this 4x4 and look forward to seeing his future creations.
