Up at the crack of dawn are those crazy men and women racing Baja on motorcycles. The level of stamina and fitness required to race on a motorcycle is far greater than racing it in a truck. These guys are truly crazy. A couple highlights of this year's 1000 included Honda Factory rider Johnny Campbell finishing for his 11th overall win and the utterly insane sidecar team of 5SC piloted by Scott Whitney finishing the race, though unofficially.
