  • Scott Stice competed in his '69 FJ40. By the end of the first lap on Sunday, his V8-powered Toyota suffered two broken front shock mounts. On Lap 2, the front driveshaft yoke came apart, and the flailing driveshaft threw each half in different directions. Scott was close to the finish and pushed on to complete the lap despite even losing the front shackles on the passenger-side leaf spring.
