More than 18,000 spectators and 187 vendors struck the Orange County Fairgrounds the weekend of May 15-16 for the Extreme Motor Sports Expo, held in Costa Mesa, California. The Expo was a huge success, with an invasion of every kind of gas-burning off-road vehicle scattered throughout the fairgrounds for all to see. With the total number of those in attendance as high as it was, the Extreme Motor Sports Expo was the third-largest event in the state for off-road enthusiasts this year. The Expo filled every building and covered all the ground area within the Orange County Fairgrounds, and the large layout provided plenty of visual entertainment, without the annoyance of an overcrowded small-real-estate event.
While the buildings provided an air-conditioned environment to escape the beating rays of the sun, plenty of food and drinks kept the crowd's hunger at bay as it perused through the endless sea of custom-built goodies.
