Cabo San Lucas - Baja Rocks!

Cabo San Lucas, located at the southern tip of Mexico's Baja Peninsula, is widely known as the deep-sea fishing capital of the world. Cabo is also the home of former Van Halen star Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina, famous for surprise guest appearances and Waboritas made from their own brand of Tequila. The friendly, festive seaside town of Cabo San Lucas has something for just about everyone. In addition to acclaimed deep-sea fishing and outrageous nightlife, Cabo offers whale watching, snorkeling, and scuba diving in warm, clear waters teaming with marine life. There are scores of fun restaurants, and the Mexican food is top-rate. And who can resist the seemingly endless run of gorgeous sand beaches?

Until recently, it seemed Cabo San Lucas had something for everyone, with the possible exception of the hard-core rockcrawling addict. This changed in January 2003 when Cabo San Lucas hosted the first international rockcrawling competition ever held outside of the United States.
