Yamaha Grants More Than $200,000 For OHV Clubs And Land Managers
In its largest quarter of funding to date, Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., through its popular OHV Access Initiative, donated more than $200,000 in cash and equipment to projects supporting safe, responsible riding and sustainable, open-riding areas across the country. BFGoodrich Recognizes Pritchett Canyon Trail
Several members of the Moab Friends-For-Wheelin' club gathered recently to celebrate as BFGoodrich Tires named the Pritchett Canyon Trail as one of its '08 Outstanding Trails and awarded the club a grant. Located southwest of Moab, Utah, the Pritchett Canyon Trail follows the Colorado River drainage and gives the off-roader several options depending on driver skill and experience. The grant will be used to preserve the trail and continue conservation efforts for one of North America's premier areas for off-roading.

BFGoodrich Tires, working in conjunction with Tread Lightly and United Four Wheel Drive Associations (UFWDA), chose the Pritchett Canyon Trail because it provides riding opportunities for many skill levels on varied terrain with many spectacular views. "The Pritchett Canyon Trail was chosen because it offers challenging obstacles with unbelievable scenery," said Joe Mazur, light truck brand category manager for BFGoodrich Tires. "We're honored to team up with clubs like the Moab Friends-For-Wheelin' to help in the conservation efforts and ensure this area will continue to stay intact and safe for all future visitors."
